The following New Mexico agencies are being contacted to determine what courses they would like to have developed in an online format. The courses will be built as resources allow. Click on the below links to obtain available information pertaining to specific agencies.
The IDEAL-NM project calls for the development of online courses to be used by New Mexico
governmental agencies for staff training. The courses will:
- Reduce employee travel time and associated costs.
- Expand training opportunities.
- Provide self-paced instruction and flexible scheduling.
Although IDEAL-NM has no budget to develop online training courses, we can offer some personnel resources to help agencies get started. Please contact the IDEAL-NM office at (505)383-2400 or info@ideal-nm.org to begin these conversations.
LMS Contract
Blackboard Inc. has been selected for the IDEAL-NM project as the state supported P-20+ Learning Management System (LMS).

Traditional training models are often expensive and time consuming as agency employees travel to regional or state sites to complete mandatory trainings. Online training modules can save valuable travel dollars and employee travel time.
